This creates problems in their relationships when their partner tries to break down their walls and has a hard time getting through. They can get too in their head about things. INFJs can be intense people. One of their flaws is overthinking things that are much simpler than they make them out to be or over analyzing situations before they proceed.
INFJs prefer to live an unconventional lifestyle. They need something a little different in life to feel content and fulfilled and sometimes this can create problems in dating if they find themselves with a partner who grew up and wants a more traditional lifestyle. Say you love us if you really do but only then. It's not that we'll get angry if you say a superficial comment, we're just well aware of the difference. INFj is "too nice", not assertive enough. Give him ways to practice assertion that we'll actually USE.INFJ- What we're like in relationships
This is a work in progress, since being assertive is traditionally linked with our PoLR. Also, it's very important to give young INFjs a sense of power as a young kid, even if it might seem unfair. It's really better in the long run. Let your INFj child lead an activity for other children while giving him 'attaboys.
